3 Year Musical Theatre Course At White Hall College Print E-mail
The Whitehall Diploma is designed for students who wish to train for a career in the world of professional theatre. Entry is by audition and interview, minimum entry age is 16 years.

Level One
  • Provides a foundation in jazz, singing, acting, ballet, tap and contemporary.
  • Preparation for ISTD external exams is also offered.
  • There may be opportunities to perform via the agency.
  • Performance opportunities in the shows that Whitehall regularly presents.

Level Two
  • Builds on the core techniques and develops students to a more advanced level.
  • A personal development strategy is negotiated to guide future specialisation options.
  • Optional teachers course.

Level Three
  • Focuses on a particular specialist option relevant to the chosen career, including teacher training.
  • Strong emphasis is placed on audition technique skills.
  • Introduction to camera work.
  • Students reaching the required standards are encouraged to take the I.S.T.D. F.D.I. external examination.

Teacher Training Module
  • Classroom observation.
  • Practice acquired skills within the Whitehall Stage School.
  • Experience leading junior classes in both Drama and Dance, under supervision.
