3 Year Musical Theatre Course At White Hall College

The Whitehall Diploma is designed for students who wish to train for a career in the world of professional theatre. Entry is by audition and interview, minimum entry age is 16 years. Level One Provides a foundation in jazz, singing, acting, ballet, tap and contemporary. Preparation for ISTD external exams is also offered. There may be opportunities to perform via the agency. Performance opportunities in the shows that Whitehall regularly presents. Level Two Builds on the core techniques and develops students to a more advanced level. A personal development strategy is negotiated to guide future specialisation options. Optional teachers course. Level Three Focuses on a particular specialist option relevant to the chosen career, including teacher training. Strong emphasis is placed on audition technique skills. Introduction to camera work. Students reaching the required standards are encouraged to take the I.S.T.D. F.D.I. external examination. Teacher Training Module Classroom observation.
