1 Year Foundation Course At Whitehall College Print E-mail
Young Performers at Whitehall College, Leigh-on-Sea, EssexThis fully funded course was primarily designed for students either wishing to develop or expand their existing skill base, or those with a natural untrained talent which needs shaping to prepare for serious study. The course is five days a week for three terms with a minimum study time of 15 tutor led hours, additional time for personal study is allocated.

Vocational studies include: Classical Ballet, Modern, Tap, Drama, Singing and Musical Theatre.

Academic studies: Single Award AVCE Performing Arts.

At the end of the year students will take part in an assessed performance at the Eastwood Studio Theatre. Students should attain Intermediate examination standards by completion. On successfully gaining the foundation course certificate, students will be eligible to apply for the three year diploma course at Whitehall College or other similar establishments.
